Now back in stock. This is the ever popular r/c model of the Piper J-3 Cub. It is a near scale model with all the looks of the real thing with some nice attention given to details such as the engine and wing struts. It looks great in the air and on the ground and can easily get airborne from any hard surface or by hand launching. It is constructed from strong styro foam with pastic reinforcing and detailing. The model has a huge span of almost 1 meter, has a strong undercarriage and scale wing dihedral. The radio controls are for the rudder, elevator and motor speed controller.
It is now supplied with a quality 4 channel transmitter which you can use with your other r/c models. The TX has reverse on all channels, a budy socket and a dc in socket for charging NiCads should you wish to use them. It includes everything you need and only requires some simple assembly and 8 AA batteries to get you airborne. All the radio, servos and control linkages are already installed for you.
